Job descriptionJoin ICS Digital, where innovation meets expertise to create digital solutions. As a Senior Software Developer within ICS Digital, you will work across a range of internal and public-facing digital services, helping to design, build and support solutions which meet user needs across DESNZ and DSIT. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including developers, data engineers, business analysts, product managers and DevOps engineers to deliver secure, scalable and accessible services.
You will contribute to the development of modern cloud-based services using technologies across AWS and Azure platforms, working across both frontend and backend development. The role provides opportunities to work with innovative technologies and rapidly prototype solutions, including exploring the use of AI-enabled tooling and automation where appropriate to improve service delivery and developer productivity.
You will help promote engineering best practices across the team, including accessibility, testing, agile delivery, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing, while contributing to a collaborative and supportive engineering culture.
