The Opportunity

Reporting into a Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end activities, and providing meaningful insight to support business performance.

This position would suit someone who enjoys working with data, analysing trends, improving processes, and contributing to decision-making through high-quality financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of accurate and timely month-end reporting
• Preparing and reviewing accruals and prepayments
• Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Performing reconciliations and financial control activities
• Analysing expenditure against budget and forecast
• Identifying and explaining key variances and performance trends
• Producing regular reporting packs for key stakeholders
• Supporting financial planning and forecasting activities
• Identifying opportunities to improve, simplify and automate processes
• Providing insight and analysis to support business decision-making
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple departments

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance knowledge with excellent analytical and communication skills.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience within a finance or management accounts environment
• A solid understanding of month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
• Knowledge of core accounting principles
• Experience studying towards, part-qualified, or qualified in a recognised finance qualification (or a desire to pursue one)
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and data analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
