After School Club Assistant - Preston City Centre

Location: Preston
Pay Rate: 14.24 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-6:00pm
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-Term Position

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring After School Club Assistant to join our team from September on a long-term basis in Preston city centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play a positive role in providing a safe, engaging, and fun after-school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and supporting children during after-school activities
• Assisting with games, crafts, sports, and educational activities
• Ensuring the safety and well being of all children in your care
• Helping to prepare and tidy activity areas
• Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion

Requirements:

• Experience working with children is desirable
• A friendly, patient, and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
