A well-regarded primary is seeking an experienced SENDCo to join their team on a full-time maternity cover contract from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting children with a wide range of needs.

The Role
  • Full-time SENDCo position
  • Maternity cover contract

  • Leading and developing SEND provision across the school federation
  • Working closely with staff, families and external agencies
  • Supporting children with a wide range of additional needs
  • Contributing to an inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
  • Suitable for experienced SENDCos with a strong primary background
  • Knowledge of early child development and EYFS desirable

Can You Offer?
  • Proven experience leading SEND provision within a primary school
  • SENDCo qualification or relevant SEND leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of inclusive practice and SEND legislation
  • Experience supporting children with a wide range of abilities and needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and support colleagues
  • A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils
  • A collaborative and child-centred approach to leadership
