Are you currently working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEND Support Worker and looking for a role that offers greater flexibility, variety and autonomy?
As a 1:1 SEND Tutor and Learning Mentor, you will work directly with individual students who are unable to attend mainstream school, providing personalised tuition and educational support tailored to their individual needs.
Quantum Scholars is recruiting SEND Tutors and Learning Mentors to deliver one-to-one SEND tuition and support for children and young people receiving Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) provision across Wokingham and the surrounding areas.
Working as part of our growing EOTAS provision, you will support students with a wide range of needs and backgrounds. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a genuine impact by helping young people rebuild confidence, engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.
Unlike a traditional school setting, you will work individually with students, allowing you to build strong relationships and tailor support to each learner's specific needs.
This role is particularly well suited to school-based LSAs and TAs who would enjoy working with a diverse range of students while benefiting from greater flexibility and autonomy. Opportunities are available from a few hours per week through to full-time timetables, depending on your availability and preferred workload.
Our students may be of primary or secondary age and can present with:
Sessions are typically delivered within the student's home environment, with a parent or carer present throughout.
All successful applicants will be required to complete safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and right-to-work verification.
