Smart Education is currently recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant to work in Studley in a lovely Primary School. They are currently offering Part time and Fulltime positions to start ASAP.

Job Requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant

Minimum 6 months UK experience in a Primary school

. Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, or social, emotional and mental health needs.

. Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and support their individual learning and development.

. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside teachers, parents, and other professionals.

. Patient, caring, and adaptable approach, with a commitment to promoting inclusion and helping every child achieve their potential.

Role responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant:

Maintain a safe, positive and productive classroom

Work collaboratively with Teachers, support staff and SEN teams

Follow school policies and expectations

Working with pupils in class, small groups and 1:1

Working across Key stag 1 and Key stage 2
