Early Years Practitioner
Aspire People are looking to recruit a dedicated and energetic Early Years Practitioner to work within a busy and supportive primary school nursery setting.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced early years environment and are passionate about helping children develop socially, emotionally, and academically before progressing into Reception.
The school is particularly interested in candidates who can confidently support structured learning activities while also building positive relationships with children through play, communication, and routine.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting children across Nursery and Reception age groups
Assisting with classroom routines, activities, and continuous provision
Encouraging speech, language, and social interaction development
Supporting children with emotional regulation and confidence-building
Working with small groups and providing individual support where required
Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment
Supporting pupils with additional needs where necessary
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young children within a UK nursery, preschool, or school setting
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification desirable but not essential for experienced candidates
Understanding of safeguarding and child development
Positive and proactive attitude
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
