Qualifications
All:
Full current driving licence
7.5 tonne driver licence (or prepared to undertake and pass within 6 month period)
Knowledge
Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
Practical knowledge of City street map
Knowledge of vehicle operating licence requirements
Experience
- Experience in working outdoors in all weathers
- Experienced in working on own initiative and on the spot decision making including dynamic risk assessments.
- Previous experience operating plant and cleansing vehicles
Aptitude & Skills
Interpret and action instructions
Ability to deliver work to agreed quality
Ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
Ability to carry out written work associated with the task, including filling in vehicle defect books and work allocation logs.
To conduct yourself in a professional manner when at work in a public environment as an ambassador to the council
