Location: Warwick (Hybrid - 3 days in office)Salary: Competitive
A well-established, global organisation is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its Financial Control & Accounting team on a 15-month fixed-term basis.
Working closely with the Chief Accountant, this role will focus on period-end reporting, balance sheet integrity, and maintaining a strong financial control environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver accurate and timely month-end and period-end reporting
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts with supporting documentation
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring issues are fully closed out
- Provide variance analysis against plan and forecast, identifying key drivers
- Support continuous improvement across reporting, controls, and reconciliation processes
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to support financial performance
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Proven experience in reconciliations and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of VAT and corporate tax
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP desirable)
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
