About The Role
Are you passionate about helping people make lasting change?
We re looking for a Senior Health & Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Integrated Substance Misuse Team at HMP Usk, Prescoed & Canol, working full time (37.5 hours per week). This is a rewarding leadership role supporting adult males within a prison setting, combining frontline clinical work with team management and service development.
You ll play a key role in supporting individuals with substance misuse and low-level mental health or emotional wellbeing needs, helping them progress through structured recovery journeys and achieve positive outcomes.

All prison-based roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and HMPPS security vetting. These checks can take up to 5 months to complete. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of both checks.
