SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary SEN School - Rochdale

SEN Teaching Assistant - About the Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes designed to meet individual needs
Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs
Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social development
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
SEN Teaching Assistant - What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children, ideally within an SEN or specialist primary setting
A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learning and behaviour with an outgoing personality.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
