Nursery Teacher

Location: Southfields, SW19
Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and well-established mainstream primary school in Southfields is seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a strong EYFS setting, with both long-term and permanent options available for the right candidate. The school places a strong emphasis on early development, play-based learning, and creating a nurturing environment where pupils can thrive.

The Early Years team is experienced and collaborative, with clear structures and support in place, making this an ideal role for a teacher who is confident in Nursery and looking for stability and progression.

• Full classroom responsibilities including planning, assessment, and reporting
• Delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
• Supporting pupils' communication, language, and social development
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment
• Working closely with support staff and parents to support pupil progress

• Hold QTS and have proven experience teaching within Early Years (essential)
• Be available to work full-time (Monday to Friday)
• Demonstrate strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Be confident managing a Nursery class
• Be proactive, nurturing, and consistent in their approach
• Have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
