Continuous Improvement Manager
£40,000 £45,000 per annum plus benefits

Winberry are working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Continuous Improvement Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Continuous Improvement professional to make a real impact by enhancing processes, reducing waste, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination
  • Analyse workflows to uncover inefficiencies and improvement areas
  • Lead improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor improvements to ensure long-term sustainability
  • Define project scope, objectives, and success measures
  • Develop and deliver structured improvement plans
  • Support change management to ensure successful adoption of new processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives based on business impact
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and wider teams
  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Provide coaching on Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices
  • Promote a collaborative and solutions-focused culture
  • Use data to identify trends and support decision-making
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide updates on improvement initiatives and outcomes

About You

We re looking for a proactive and analytical individual with a passion for driving change and improving performance.

Essential:

  • Experience in a Continuous Improvement, Process Improvement, or similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering improvements in a fast-paced or operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Desirable:

  • Experience within manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above)
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects
  • Advanced data analysis skills
