TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a resilient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large, 3-form entry primary school in the Poplar area of Tower Hamlets.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs in a school that requires confident, proactive staff who can thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment.

• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored and engaging learning activities
• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour effectively
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

• Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential
• Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour in a school setting
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

• Large 3-form entry primary school
