The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Functional Skills Maths Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching to learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Including: Global developmental delay, Down syndrome, Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD, Severe learning difficulties and Social communication challenges.
Learners may work at a slower pace and often require additional support with communication, behaviour management and emotional regulation.
The Functional Skills Maths Tutor role involves delivering Functional Skills Maths from Entry Level 1 3 and Levels 1 2 in small group settings of up to 12 learners. It requires patience, flexibility, creativity and strong classroom management skills to support learners with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
The Functional Skills Maths Tutor will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing Functional Skills Maths provision, ensuring lessons are engaging, differentiated and aligned with learner needs.
