Salary: Upto 42,000 DOE

The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Product Specialist to support Commercial and Sales teams in winning new business. This is an internal-facing role focused on sourcing, specifying, and pricing industrial products to meet customer requirements while maximising commercial value.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching products, comparing technical specifications, and working closely with both customers and suppliers in a structured, organised way.
Key Responsibilities
Identify suitable suppliers and source products to detailed technical specifications
Compare products from multiple suppliers and recommend the best-fit solutions
Prepare accurate product and pricing information to support quotations and bids
Compile and maintain technical documentation, including MSDS, Technical Data Sheets and Certificates
Respond to customer technical queries and manage issues through to resolution
Liaise with suppliers to obtain technical and commercial information and file data accurately
Support contract mobilisation, ensuring all products are correctly set up in the ERP system with accurate pricing and specifications
Review, test and organise product samples to ensure quality and technical standards are met
Monitor competitor product ranges, pricing and promotional activity
What We're Looking For
Experience in a product, technical, or industrial environment (highly advantageous)
Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
Strong attention to detail with a structured and organised approach
Confidence communicating with customers and suppliers
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Proactive, assertive mindset with strong ownership and follow-through
