LTD / Umbrella
39.00/hr - First 37 hours
41.34/hr - After 37 hours / First 4 hours Saturday
45.06/hr - After 4 hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holidays

PAYE
28.85/hr - First 37 hours
30.58/hr - After 37 hours / First 4 hours Saturday
33.34/hr - After 4 hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holidays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to support works on a high-profile substation project. This is a long-term contract with Siemens Energy Ltd., offering strong rates and excellent project exposure.


The Role:
You will take a lead supervisory position on site, supporting the Site Manager and coordinating mechanical installation activities across multiple work fronts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating small teams to deliver works safely, on time, and to specification
  • Forward planning labour, materials, and plant to ensure efficient delivery
  • Monitoring progress and identifying delays or disruptions early
  • Ensuring all work complies with QEHS standards and site procedures
  • Supporting documentation, reporting, and milestone delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supervising works on substation or heavy industrial projects
  • Strong background in mechanical installation (GIS experience highly desirable)
  • Ability to lead teams and coordinate site activities effectively

  • SSSTS (SMSTS desirable)
  • First Aid (3 Day)

  • IPAF / MEWP
  • Temporary Works Supervisor
  • Manual Handling & Working at Height
