Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer to join a growing engineering design team. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical skills while supporting projects from early design through to fabrication and site delivery.

You will work across office-based design tasks and occasional site visits, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world engineering projects.

• Attend site visits and surveys
• Assist with design briefs and technical documentation
• Produce fabrication drawings and 3D models
• Complete connection detailing
• Support calculations and technical reports
• Generate NC data for fabrication processes

• Degree qualified (or studying) in Engineering
• Experience in an engineering design or detailing role
• Familiar with CAD / 3D modelling software (e.g. Tekla, AutoCAD)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
