Looking to step away from the pressures of mainstream teaching? This is an opportunity to work in a more flexible, rewarding way supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis across a range of ages and needs.
You ll deliver personalised sessions to learners from Early Years through to Key Stage 4 and Further Education, supporting those with SEND and SEMH needs to re-engage with learning, build confidence, and make meaningful progress.
Sessions take place in safe, community-based settings such as libraries and local venues across Manchester, with additional opportunities in Salford, Bolton, Bury, Wigan, Lancashire, and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 learning sessions across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4, and FE
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of needs and abilities
- Support emotional regulation, engagement, and personal development
- Create calm, structured, and positive learning environments
- Use a nurture-based, relationship-led approach to support progress
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification essential
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs across any key stage
- Strong understanding of differentiated and inclusive teaching practices
- Patient, adaptable, and child-centred approach
- Ability to work independently in community settings
