Pay: 90 - 110 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Primary / SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Hemel Hempstead. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

The Role:
You will be supporting pupils across the primary age range, with a focus on children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs. You may work 1:1 or with small groups, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Support children with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Work closely with the SENCO and wider school team

About You:

Experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEN setting
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) are desirable but not essential
