Job Description
We are seeking to recruit Exam Invigilators to work with our existing team of bank staff in the running and facilitating of school based examinations for a number of our Leigh based Secondary Schools for the 2026 exam season.
This post would be ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today's young people and who are able to work flexible daytime hours throughout the academic year.
To become an invigilator, you'll need to be able to:
- Understand and apply detailed written instructions, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Concentrate and work quickly under pressure, for several hours at a time
- Maintain confidentiality
- Use initiative in response to unexpected situations
- Be aware and committed to equal opportunities and diversity
- Be willing to undergo CPD training provided by CER concerning scribing, 1:1 support & what the expectations will be when it comes to adhering to the rules and regulations.
Ideal applicants will hold an enhanced DBS and have experience of working in a similar role. If you do not have an enhansed DBS you will need to apply for this before you begin in a school. Additionally, if you are a university graduate or a student this could provide you with paid employment during and after your studies.
