Hygiene Operative

Working in the Pontypool area for our long-established client the UK's leading food manufacturers and retailers.

ctrg are currently recruiting for a dedicated team member to work as a Hygiene Operative in Pontypool, NP4 0JJ

This is a long-term position with the potential for a permanent position.

Duties will include:

• Carry out day to day hygiene activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity
• General pot washing duties, cleaning lines and machines adhering to high company standards, general waste management
• Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel
• Ensure that chemicals are used and stored correctly
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel
• Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Senior Operator
• Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department
• Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift plan

Personal Attributes:

• We're looking for good level of English ideally hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Attention to detail Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene
• Ability to work unsupervised

Hours of Work

• 12 hr shifts on a 4 on 4 off rota - flexibility to be able to start either 5am, 7am or 9am
• Immediate Starts

Rate of Pay

• 13.05 per hour
• Weekly pay
