Are you a Civil Design Engineer looking to work on design-led projects alongside leading architects, rather than purely standard infrastructure schemes?
An award-winning, design-focused civil & structural engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Design Engineer into its central London office. With a team of around 170 employees across multiple UK offices, the business offers the stability and resources of an established consultancy, while maintaining a collaborative and close-knit studio environment at office level.

You'll be joining a consultancy known for delivering innovative, elegant and practical engineering solutions, working closely with architects to bring complex designs to life.
Projects are highly varied and include:

• Residential and mixed-use developments
• Cultural and heritage refurbishments
• Commercial and education buildings
• Public realm and urban regeneration schemes
• Architecturally complex, design-led projects

As a Civil Design Engineer, you'll contribute to the delivery of civil engineering elements across building-focused projects.
Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the design of drainage, levels and external works
• Contributing to SuDS strategies and surface water management
• Assisting with site development and access design
• Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD / Civil 3D
• Working closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams
• Supporting projects from concept through to detailed design and construction
• Contributing to design discussions and helping develop practical solutions

• Experience in civil engineering design, ideally within development or building-related projects
• Background in drainage, external works or site development
• Experience using AutoCAD / Civil 3D
• Understanding of UK standards and approvals
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Interest in design-led engineering projects

• Work on architecturally-led, high-quality London projects
• Be part of a well-established consultancy ( 170 staff) with a strong UK presence
