A high-achieving and forward-thinking Greenwich primary school is seeking a dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join its KS2 team from September 2026.

Located near Blackheath and Westcombe Park, the school serves a diverse and engaged community and is known for its strong academic standards alongside a supportive, well-structured working environment.

The school offers a balanced curriculum with a strong focus on reading, vocabulary development and secure foundations in writing and maths.

This KS2 Primary Teacher role in Greenwich involves full class responsibility for a Year 3 class, supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2.

You will be part of a collaborative year group with shared planning and strong curriculum support in place.

Key responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging KS2 lessons aligned to the National Curriculum
• Supporting progress in reading, writing and maths
• Using assessment to track and improve outcomes
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement
• Working closely with year group colleagues

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher in Greenwich who:

• Holds QTS and has UK primary teaching experience
• Has KS2 experience or strong ECT placement experience
• Demonstrates strong classroom management
• Is committed to high standards and pupil progress
• Works well in a team-focused environment
