JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer - Gluing Systems
We're looking for a skilled and customerfocused Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer sites, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and technical excellence.
Staying away from home 2 days per week on average with very occasional weekend work and overtime paid door to door. There will be occasional training in Germany
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Field Service Engineer - Gluing Systems
Perform on-site installation, commissioning, servicing, and repairs of equipment
Diagnose technical faults and provide effective solutions
Carry out preventative maintenance visits
Keep accurate service reports and documentation
Provide customer training and support where required
Work closely with the service team to ensure timely job completion
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer - Gluing Systems
We would be delighted to receive applications from individuals who meet the following brief:
Experience working as a Field Service Engineer is ideal, however, we will consider Engineers looking for their first role in field service
Any knowledge of gluing systems would be of particular interest but not essential
Ideally you will have knowledge of the packaging industry, particularly corrugated or folding cartons
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Excellent communication and customerservice skills
Full UK driving licence
Qualifications in engineering, electrical, mechanical, or related field (preferred)
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Self-motivated, ambitious, entrepreneurial and excellent team player skills.
