Management Accountant

We're working with a growing and well-established business in Rawtenstall looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to step into a broad, commercially focused role with real progression. Management Accountant - The Package:

• Competitive salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Responsibilities:

• Full preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
• Producing insightful commentary to support business performance
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
• Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
• Partnering with operational teams to improve cost control and profitability
• Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements Identifying and driving process improvements across finance Assisting with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and projects

About You:

• Part-qualified / finalist (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or be QBE
• Proven experience producing management accounts in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Experience working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
• A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
