We're looking for a Paint Prep / Parts Preparation Technician to prepare manufactured parts and components for the painting and finishing process. You'll ensure parts are cleaned, inspected, masked, sanded and correctly staged so they meet quality standards and are ready for efficient painting. Location: Ruislip, London Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:18pm Pay rate: 13.60 per hour Key Responsibilities for Paint Prepper: Prepare metal and manufactured parts for painting, coating, or finishing Clean, degrease, sand, grind, scuff and prepare surfaces as required Remove dirt, oil, grease, rust, scale, burrs and other contaminants Mask and plug areas that must not receive paint/coating Inspect parts for defects, surface imperfections and damage prior to painting Carry out minor surface repairs/corrections as needed Follow work instructions, drawings, specifications and production schedules Stage and identify parts for the paint department Load/unload, rack,...
