We are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer / Fitter based in Leicester based on a full time and permanent basis. Salary: 30,000 to 35,000 per annum Working hours: 8:00 -16:30 Monday to Friday. Annual leave: 25 days plus statutory Employee pension contributions Private health care Death in service About the role: We are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer / Fitter who will be working in a small team, within a varied role, refurbishing used machinery. Duties In house repair and refurbishment of machines. Fitting motors and safety switches. Rebuilding of mechanical sub-assemblies. Assisting in machine demonstration area. Cleaning and polishing machines. Prepare new machines for delivery to customers. Occasional UK and European travel.
