Community Equity Officer needed! Salary: 21.65ph Location: Cambridge, CB2 Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm Till Feb 2027 The Purpose of this role is: To support the development and implementation of cross-cutting policies, projects and processes that enable the Council to meet its equity, equality and diversity objectives. In this role you will: Book in the consultation opportunities and directly support with some consultation events with communities and the voluntary and community sector on the council's draft Equity Strategy. Analysing findings from consultation and national and local research reports and statistics to be used to inform the Equity Strategy and council service provision. Capture learning relating to best practice around community engagement and consultation to be shared across the council.
