Our client Worcestershire County Council is looking for an Independent Reviewing Officer to join their Safeguarding, Quality assurance service. Main Purpose of Job: To perform the role and responsibilities of an Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO), fulfilling the statutory duties as laid out in the Care Planning Regulations and IRO Handbook 2010, and an Independent Chair of Child Protection Conferences, fulfilling the responsibilities as laid out in Working Together to Safeguard Children 2013. To undertake the statutory role of Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) in relation to allegations against people who work with children.
