Job Purpose To apply psychological theory, research and evidence-based practice to improve outcomes for children and young people aged 0-25. Working collaboratively with families, schools, early years settings, colleges and multi-agency partners, the Educational Psychologist supports inclusion, learning, emotional wellbeing and positive development, ensuring children and young people achieve their potential. Key Responsibilities Undertake psychological assessments of children and young people experiencing learning, developmental, behavioural, social or emotional difficulties. Prepare clear, evidence-based psychological advice for Education, Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessments and Annual Reviews in accordance with the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
