Position: Machine Shop Manager Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire Salary: 40-55K DOE + benefits Hours of work: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 15:30 Fridays (overtime available) Nicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for a Machine Shop Manager, to join a well-established manufacturing client in the Rotherham area. You will be responsible for managing a 17 machine CNC workshop, with a team of 24 direct reports, allocating programming job tickets & supervising work, production & consistency of quality, prior to inspection. The machine shop mainly comprises of Fanuc operated DOOSAN/Hwacheon Lathes and Haas VMCs. This is a hands-on role in a very busy & fast-paced environment, where you will be expected to operate & programme as required. We anticipate the role being 80% management & 20% programming.
