VGC Group are currently recruiting for a LCV Fitter / LGV Mechanic to join our team on a major project in Leiston, Suffolk. We are looking for an experienced and reliable LCV Fitter to inspect, maintain and repair a wide range LGV s. The successful candidate with have hands on technical experience and the ability to work alone and part of a team. They will also have strong diagnostic skills and experience working on LGV s. Basic pay rate: £19.10per hour PAYE (enhanced rates available after 39 hours) Shift- 12 days on, 2 days off. 12 hour days Start Date: ASAP, subject to gaining vetting Lodge pay is available for the successful candidate, if they meet the criteria. The successful candidate will have: -NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) -HSE CITB Test -Abrasive Wheels -Manual Handling -LOTO Electrical Safety Briefing, or LOTO Isolation Procedures or LOTO Mechanical Briefing -Full UK driving licence. -MOT Tester licence (beneficial).
