Commercial Underwriter Purpose of Role/Job Overview: Commercial Combined/SME Underwriter business on a presentation basis Underwriting a high volume of Commerical Combined / SME enquiries, average premium is circa £3,000 with a potential to write up to a premium of £100,000. As a Commercial Underwriter, you will possess the ability to interpret policy / endorsement wordings and have experience in writing own or modifying existing wordings. Once trained it is expected that the position of Commercial Underwriter will be fairly autonomous, working to achieve personal underwriting targets. Commercial Underwriter Requirements: Must have a Minimum of 3 years' Commercial Undewriting experience. Preferable Cert CII or part qualified.
