About the role The Occupational Therapist is responsible for delivering an effective and person-centred occupational therapy service to adults, children, and carers. The role focuses on promoting independence, wellbeing, and choice through assessment, intervention, and support planning. Working within relevant legislation, professional standards, and safeguarding frameworks, the Occupational Therapist assesses functional needs, recommends equipment and adaptations, and develops solutions that prevent, reduce, or delay the need for ongoing care and support.
