Steelfixer BESC Person Trained Location: Selby Rate: CIS Pay Negotiable + travel or digs (depending on location) Start Date: 27th July (2 weeks work) We are currently recruiting an experienced Steel Fixer with BESC Person certification to work on a live substation project. Duties & Responsibilities: Installing and tying reinforcement steel to engineering drawings and specifications Fixing rebar, mesh, spacers and reinforcement cages Preparing and securing steel reinforcement prior to concrete pours Assisting with reinforced concrete foundations, plinths and substation structures Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings and bar schedules Working safely within a live substation environment under BESC Person rules Complying with all site health & safety procedures, permit systems and safe systems of work Requirements Valid CSCS blue card BESC Person certification (Essential) Previous experience working on National Grid or...
