Job Purpose Model reliable effective social work practice that safeguards and promotes the welfare of children in need, including children in complex situations with high levels of need and risk, so that children maintain a reasonable standard of health and development, receive reasonable parenting, and a sense of permanence through secure attachment to their parents or carers. Where a child is disabled take action to minimise the effect of their disabilities and give them the opportunity to lead lives which are as normal as possible.
