Graduate / Junior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) Birmingham Hybrid (min. 3 days in office) 30,000 + performance bonus The Role This is a rare opportunity to join a specialist consultancy that does something genuinely different. Rather than placing graduates on large teams where they spend years supporting senior engineers on a narrow slice of work, this practice takes people on from the start, teaches them heat pump design from first principles, and expects them to be leading their own projects within a couple of years. The team works exclusively in the design of low-carbon heating and cooling systems - ground source, air source, and water source heat pumps - from early feasibility through to Stage 4 detailed design. Clients include local authorities, universities, and main contractors. The work is technical, design-led, and hands-on throughout the project lifecycle.
