Recruiting for a Midday Assistant to join the team in an outstanding school based in the Upminster area. For the role you will provide a safe, calm and enjoyable environment for students with various Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs during their lunchtime break and play. Monday to Friday 2 hrs a day with additional hours being offered if and when needed -not guaranteed (Term time only) Midday Support responsibilities: Supervise and support the students during their lunchtime period and play. Encourage positive behaviour, friendships and inclusive play. Support the students with dietary requirements and eating. Happy to assist with personal care if needed. Respond to minor accidents or incidents and report concerns to an appropriate member of staff. Follow the schools safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour policies at all times.
