Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting for Commissioning Operator to join the EPC Contractor on a new build Open Cycle Gas Turbine plant based in Lincolnshire. The Commissioning Operator role come with a day rate from 475.00 to 500.00 (Outside IR35). Role responsibilities and key skills for the role: Support commissioning activities across Balance of Plant (BoP) systems, including fuel gas systems, water treatment, cooling systems, compressed air, and auxiliary plant. Operate and monitor plant systems from the control room (DCS/SCADA) during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and first gas introduction. Assist with plant start-up, shutdown, and functional testing, ensuring systems are brought online in a safe and controlled manner. Execute commissioning procedures, test plans, and check sheets, ensuring all activities are completed in line with project and OEM requirements.
